DON’T STOP TALKING ABOUT SUDAN

  • Date: 27 March
  • Time: 19:30
  • Location: PAARD

A bloody struggle is raging in Sudan over the country’s wealth, such as gold, gum arabic (an important ingredient in many of the products we use), fertile agricultural land, and power. Other countries, including the United Arab Emirates (UAE), are also eyeing Sudan’s resources and are thereby helping to keep the conflict going.

Would you like to learn more about the history of Sudan and the courageous struggle of Sudanese people for their independence? And also about the current conflict and what we in the Netherlands can do to draw more attention to it? Then come to Don’t Stop Talking About Sudan. An evening where we share knowledge, hear stories, eat together, experience music, and dance. Because connection, culture, and togetherness are indispensable in times of injustice.

This event is a collaboration between Oxfam Novib, Yalla4Sudan, The Black Archives, and Melkweg.
