Kabul, 15 August 2021. As the American army leaves Afghanistan, the Taliban seize power in the capital Kabul. Hundreds of Afghans seek refuge at the French embassy, the last safe place in the city. Commander Mohamed Bida faces an almost impossible mission: to evacuate 500 people within thirteen days and thirteen nights, without military support. With the help of Eva, a young French-Afghan aid worker, he ventures into dangerous negotiations with the Taliban. What follows is a nerve-racking race against time.
