Nicchelle Buyne

Nicchelle Buyne (she/they) is a Surinamese-Dutch dreamer, poet and doer. As a spoken word artist, she shared her words at Read My World, Mensen Zeggen Dingen and Poetry International. Nicchelle likes to take an intersectional and explorative approach to her work. In 2024, they created their first solo show De Stilte Die We Delen, which combines music, audio and poetry. Besides writing, Nicchelle loves sleeping in, Surinamese food and her family.
