SUP it up!

You've probably seen it before: every season, we organise a Trash Walk around The Hague University of Applied Sciences to clean up litter together. But this month, we're doing things a little differently: we're taking to the water!

During this special edition, we will hop on a SUP (Stand Up Paddleboard) to clean up the canals around The Hague University of Applied Sciences. A unique and sporty way to contribute to a cleaner environment!

Who can participate?

All students and staff of The Hague University of Applied Sciences are welcome. Participation is free of charge. Please note: registration takes place on site, so make sure you arrive on time.

What do you get?

Upon arrival, you will receive a SUP board, paddle, bucket and life jacket. Supervisors will be present to ensure that everything runs smoothly.

When?

There are two SUP rounds:

  • Morning round: 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
  • Afternoon round: 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

There is room for a maximum of 12 participants per round.

Want to join?

Turn your usual walk into something special and join this clean-up campaign on the water. Together we can make a difference. Will you join us?

Please note: we will check the weather forecast the day before the event. Any changes or important information will be shared on site on the day itself.

Organisation

This event is organised by Clean Up on Tour, Team Campus, Mission Zero Knowledge Centre, Green Office, Zero Waste FZ&IT and The Lighthouse.
