A Night in Two Acts: The Peace Hangout & The Peace Disco
19:00 – 21:00 | Peace Hangout
The evening begins in a relaxed, welcoming tone with the Peace Hangout. A space curated to spark real connections. Whether you're a seasoned peacebuilder, a local artist, or just curious, this is a space to meet unexpected allies. Think of it as your soft landing into the n
ight ahead. Over drinks and good conversation, you'll hear real, unfiltered stories from those on the frontlines of justice, human rights, and community action, stories that don’t often make the headlines, but should. The Peace Hangout is also a moment to gather your intentions. Write your hope for a peaceful world on a placard. Meet someone from a different background or cause. Share your project, your question, or your dream. This is your invitation to slow down and warm up before the dancefloor calls.

21:00 – 01:00 | Peace Disco
Then the tempo rises. From 9pm, the Peace Disco transforms the dancefloor into a sanctuary of joy and resistance. A powerful, diverse DJ lineup will spin global grooves, local gems, and genre-blurring beats that invite everybody to move. But here’s the twist: between the DJ sets, activists take the mic. These aren’t long speeches—just two minutes to share an action point, an idea, or a spark. These short interventions pack a punch and give the dancefloor deeper purpose. You may find yourself dancing next to a climate activist, a refugee rights advocate, or a disarmament expert—because everyone’s invited. And everyone has a role.
Whether you're waving your placard high or quietly reflecting to the beat, the Peace Disco offers a rare kind of party: one where you leave more connected, more inspired, and more ready to act than when you arrived.
Party4Peace doesn’t mean ignoring the challenges of the world. It means responding to them with courage and creativity. It means recognising that music and movement have always been tools of resistance. That some of the most transformative political moments in history began with a drumbeat, a dance, or a shared chorus. From civil rights to climate justice, movements thrive when they’re fuelled by community, culture, and joy.Party4Peace creates a space where we can imagine what peace looks like—not as a lofty, abstract goal, but as something tangible, grounded, and alive. It’s a platform where art meets action. Where every beat is a heartbeat of the collective. And where your presence isn’t passive—it’s a contribution. This isn’t a festival of empty slogans. It’s a party with a purpose. One where resistance is rhythmic, and where joy becomes an act of defiance. When we gather like this—across identities, causes, and borders—we send a clear message: peace is not a luxury or a dream. It’s a demand. And we’re dancing until it’s real.

Who’s It For?
Party4Peace is for everyone who believes in something better. You don’t need to be an expert in peacebuilding or a regular at activist events. You just need to be present—with curiosity, openness, and a willingness to move.
- Are you a musician who believes music can heal and unite?
- A student who wants to learn beyond the classroom?
- A human rights defender who’s rarely invited to celebrate your victories?
- A diplomat seeking fresh ideas and real connections?
- Or just someone who loves a good party but wants it to mean something?
- Then this is for you. This is your space. Your night. Your dance floor of possibilities.
How to Prepare
- Dress loud, proud, or peaceful. This is a disco, after all. Sequins and slogans welcome.
- Bring a placard. Write your hope, your demand, or your dream. We’ll provide markers and boards at the venue too.
- Arrive early. The Peace Hangout is not to be missed—some of the best conversations happen before the music starts.
- Come with questions, not credentials. Everyone has something to offer here.
