Keti Koti Curates

  • Date: 01 July
  • Time: 17:00
  • Location: Filmhuis Den Haag

On the occasion of Keti Koti, Filmhuis Den Haag presents a new program this year: Keti Koti Curates - an evening that makes space for personal stories, new perspectives and shared reflection.

On July 1, we invite two special curators: Henry Timisela, director of Museum Maluku, and Farilyann Muzo, archivist and researcher at the National Archives. Each of them will give their own interpretation of the evening, based on their background, expertise and personal involvement in themes of colonial history, memory and representation.

In addition, Kaboom Animation Festival has curated a special part of the program, in which animation is used as a form of imagination and meaning-making.

The evening consists of film screenings, conversations and other forms of exchange, all centered on remembrance, celebration and representation.

With this program we aim not only to remember, but also to connect, challenge and inspire - together with the audience and with the voices we give a stage to.
