Worried about The Future? From Overwhelm to Climate Action
- Date: 04 June - 19 June
- Time: 18:00 - 21:00
- Location: The Grey Space

Feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or powerless about what’s going on? Worried about the future next generations will face?
Join us for a creative, grounded session where we’ll face the reality of climate change and injustice—and tap back into our agency. You’ll leave energised, connected and ready to act.
What will we do? We’ll start with an honest look at the climate crisis—root causes and all. Then we’ll shift from facts to feeling, and from isolation to connection. Through collaborative art-making, storytelling, and small group exercises, we’ll explore how to move from being anxious to a sense of possibility, from overwhelm to action.
It’s a grounded, creative, emotionally honest session to help you reconnect—with yourself, with others, and with your sense of agency.
Who’s guiding this?
The session is facilitated by Gregg the Artivist and Laura de Franchis
from The Alternatives Factory. Gregg is a Climate Reality Leader, artist, activist, and visual storyteller who transforms climate anxiety into collective creativity—using art installations and content to spark connection, reflection, and action. Laura is a social entrepreneur, coach and facilitator with a background in agronomy and environmental science and 20+ years of international humanitarian and development experience, mainly with the United Nations. Together, they use participatory methods to help people move from despair or denial to grounded, joyful climate action. They believe that real change begins when people come together—with intention.
No expertise needed—just a willingness to show up and co-create.
